Fortnite’s New Mode: Romeo and Juliet. Get Your Popcorn Ready!!
If you haven’t heard, Fortnite has released a Romeo and Juliet version. This game mode includes 1600’s features like weapons, emotes, and land marks. The games has already been played 1 million times and it released last weekend. With season 4, releasing with this mode the game is estimated to skyrocket. Since the game is a throwback we decided to change the battle bus to a horse drawn carriage. This gives the game more of a old look like the 1600’s.
Weapons
The weapons in this new mode are from the 1600’s. There will be some weapons that remain the same like the revolver and the hunting rifle (renamed to the musket). The publishers of this mode tried to make the guns as real looking and 3d as possible to give the game more of a real look. One of these people said “the weapons of the 1600’s were antiques and they should be treated as that in this game mode.
The Map
The map on this mode will be featuring every city in Verona. This map you are seeing is as real as the Verona. These small cities will be the landing spots for the mode. Some spots are The Arena, Bahnhof, and the most popular Zeno Magg. Zeno is like the Titled Towers of this mode where you can find the best loot and do not have your guard down because you never know when you can get sniped with a musket. The map designer says “We modeled the game after the real life Verona, Italy. We took all aspects of Verona and put it in to the game like Verona city.
Battle
The fighting in this mode has been changed a little. During this time you can actually use your hands as a weapon. When fighting with a axe also, it takes more damage than it usually would in the other modes. Players can find armor (as you can see in the photo) spanned like a weapon would . The amor can take 5 hits if gold 3 if its blue and 2 hits if it is green. If the armor is common, one shot, or hit, from any weapon takes it away. The armor is the best feature in the gosh dang game man!!!!
Skins and Emotes
I know everyone is wondering by now “what types of skins are there going to be”, or (Are there going to be any emotes?). Well the answer to your question is yes! Our creators has decided to add in skins like the outfits people wore in the 1600’s. Some of these are The Peasant, The King, The Priest, The Queen, Royal Knight, and Cupid. The Royal Knight skin will be the reward for reaching you max amount of tiers. Just wait till you see the skin, it will be worth it. The skins designer says “The skins were inspired by the years of the 1600s.” The emotes in this version are from the 16th century as well. These dances are The Gilliard, The Bass Dance, Almain, and Canario.
The Storm
The owners of this mode wanted to change the storm up a little. So we decided to give it a new name and a different look. The storms name will be the Torakane and it will be coming faster than ever. This speeds up the game because we have been getting complaints that the game is too slow. So here is your solution.The storm editor says “The storm of fortnite comes quickly so get your loot and move to the circle” We have added something else in with the storm. Since Romeo and Juliet is based around them not being able to be with each other, but they are still in love, the storm will have the family members of both Romeo and Juliet chasing you to get to the circle.
Fortnite to me has been the hottest game out. This is not estimated to change. New modes are coming out every Thursday and that will jus make even more people play it. This Romeo and Juliet game mode is bringing in lots of new players and I think it won’t stop. This has already became my favorite mode because of all the new features. I hope you give this game a try, you will not regret it!
